Through a partnership with the City of Berkeley’s YouthWorks program, the Teen Task Force is a paid internship that focuses on professional development and member service. By training the interns on event and workshop management, our goal is to help them:

  • Build confidence in their own abilities
  • Strengthen work ethic
  • Develop relevant and essential job skills
  • Instill teamwork values

As interns develop leadership and management skills, the Teen Task Force as a group contributes to ongoing work in the Teen Center community and the success of its programs.
