Supporting Early Childhood Impact
Early Childhood Impact (ECI) is well known for providing innovative Head Start (HS) and Early Head Start (EHS) programs and services. Our 16 Early Learning Centers engage and uplift children and families in the East Bay who face systemic social and economic injustices.

Early Learning Centers
Resources are needed to expand and update our Early Learning Centers to ensure we offer high quality early learning programs for children from birth to 5 years old. The Early Learning Centers are designed to benefit low-income families and provide critical services - pre-school childcare, health screenings, family engagement services, mental health support, parent workshops, counseling, education & job opportunities, and more.
Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program
Our Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program offers training and support for aspiring early childhood professionals. We are especially interested in training parents from our ECI and Head Start programs. By training and adding more qualified staff in Early Care and Education programs, we’re helping individuals to be a part of the workforce, support their family, and earn financial income. Your gift will allow more people to take part in our apprenticeship!
Trauma Informed Care
A gift supporting Trauma Informed Care in our Early Learning Centers will provide comprehensive training and support for our staff so our Y families have increased access to mental health services and other necessary resources, resulting in better outcomes for children, families, and staff.
