Starting July 1, Pleasant Hill YMCA members will be able to schedule outdoor exercise and pool time through our YMCA of the East Bay app! Visit the App Store or Google Play to download and create a sign-in. Be sure to have your membership card handy to link your account.
While we'd planned for our Richmond Parkway and Pleasant Hill fitness branches to reopen July 1, Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS) announced on June 29 that they will delay the opening of businesses and activities previously planned for July 1 until the COVID-19 outbreak in Contra Costa is better contained.
We are also waiting for guidance from Alameda County Health Dept. and Berkeley Public Health Division on reopening our fitness branches in Albany, Berkeley, and Oakland.
In the meantime, we've been training our staff on new procedures, deep cleaning our facilities, and re-configuring our workout spaces. The health and safety of our community is always our top priority, so we've made some changes. Read on and learn to expect when you return to the Y!
