For the 2025 season, players are assigned to teams exclusively by the League Commissioner (YMCA Staff). During registration you will be asked to provide your child’s school, preferred practice day, and for the names of any friends you’d like to play with. The Commissioner forms teams of no more than 10 players based on the information you provide during registration.
The commissioner and Y staff will try to accommodate all requests, but cannot guarantee your child will be placed on a particular team or have a particular schedule. If we are unable to accommodate your requests, you may receive a full refund if you decide not to participate in the league. Please note- refund requests must be submitted 6 days prior to the start of the League (Jan. 6)
All teams are coached by volunteer coaches who receive training and support from YMCA staff to ensure a safe, positive, and skill-focused experience for every player. All Coaches and staff complete a background check and are mandated reporters.
If you're interested in becoming a coach, please fill out this form!
Besides games, practices, and a healthy dose of fun, all players will receive a reversible youth YMCA Jersey, plus an end-of-season team party to celebrate our players and coaches!
We believe YMCA programs should be accessible to all. As such, financial assistance is available for families who qualify. Those eligible can receive a 50% discount on registration fees, ensuring more children have the opportunity to participate in our programs.
If you haven't applied already, please complete this form!
We’re always looking for enthusiastic volunteer coaches & referees to join our Leagues. As a thank-you, volunteer coaches receive a free YMCA gift and can enjoy priority scheduling, meaning you get to select your child’s practice day to fit your schedule. No previous coaching experience is necessary—just a love for working with kids and supporting their growth!
