Downtown Berkeley Outdoor Fitness

Free Outdoor Classes for Downtown Berkeley Members:

Lower Body Circuit with Rashad
Mondays | 10:00 am - 10:45 am
Gain and develop strength in the quads, hamstrings, glutes, calves and core through this circuit workout utilizing dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, bodyweight and more. Exercises will be time interval based. Members must bring their own mat and masks are required. All levels welcome. Class will be held in our Teen Center parking lot at 2111 Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
 
Zumba with Noel
Tuesdays | 11:00 am - 11:45 am
Dance to current and latin inspired music in this aerobic workout! Masks required and all levels welcome. Class will be held in our Teen Center parking lot at 2111 Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
 
Boot Camp with Rashad
Wednesdays | 7:00 am - 7:45 am
Develop strength and aerobic endurance in this hour in class using dumbbells, kettlebells and your own bodyweight! Must be comfortable getting down to the ground. Please bring your own mat. Masks required and all levels welcome. Class will be held in our Teen Center parking lot at 2111 Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
 
Upper Body Circuit with Rashad
Wednesdays | 10:00 am - 10:45 am
Gain and develop strength in the chest, back, shoulders, arms and core through this circuit workout utilizing dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, bodyweight and more. Exercises will be time interval based. Members must bring their own mat and masks are required. All levels welcome. Class will be held in our Teen Center parking lot at 2111 Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

Specialized Outdoor Small Group Classes:

Outdoor RowFit
Rowing is a great full-body exercise for strength and endurance. In RowFit, we’ll teach you correct rowing form, perform rowing drills to challenge the cardiovascular system and have intervals of strength work using other equipment.

Oakland Outdoor Fitness

Free Outdoor Classes for Oakland Y Members:

We're offering free outdoor group ex classes Monday - Saturday! Classes are held on the outdoor PT Patio and free for Oakland Y members. Please bring your own towel and mat.

Pleasant Hill Outdoor Fitness

At our Pleasant Hill branch, we're offering Outdoor Group Ex and lap swimming reservations in our outdoor pool. You can also reserve an Outdoor Strength Pod with a full selection of equipment or join one of our Outdoor Body Conditioning classes.

Water Aerobics Classes with Ben and Julie:

  • Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 9:45am & 12:15pm - 1:00pm
  • Sunday, 8:00am - 8:45am
