Healthy Heart

This safe and supportive program offers classes for all fitness levels to address heart problems, diabetes, vascular disorder, high blood pressure, stroke-risk, and weight issues.

Supervised by Cardiac nurses and YMCA exercise instructors, you will be given workouts with a cardiovascular/aerobic training component followed by strength training/flexibility/balance cool down. Blood pressure and health checks are available before each class.

Healthy Heart classes are free, drop-in and included in a full-service membership. The Cardiac nurse will do an initial intake in your first class.

CPR / First Aid

Learn how to respond to an emergency situation and provide the necessary care needed. This CPR and First Aid training will teach you to effectively give emergency care to infants, children, and adults. Upon successful completion, participants receive certificates for Standard First Aid (valid for two years) and Adult, Infant and Child CPR (valid for two years).

Lose to Win

This program helps you focus on the importance of physical activity and nutrition, while addressing motivation, obstacles, and pitfalls that make losing weight (and keeping it off) so challenging.

A weekly one hour team meeting provides a supportive network of others working on similar goals to help when the going gets tough and to celebrate successes along the way! Get started on creating lasting change!

For a $99 fee, the program includes:

  • 12 weekly one-hour sessions
